Absolutely not for me!!! I have always loved doing housework and I felt like it was a time for me to unwind and destress while getting some energy moving and exercise. Housework is exercise. Vacuuming, mopping, getting to those corners under the table, reaching up to wipe & dust, walking around room to room or fetching cleaning stuff. Exaggerate some movements and you have squats, lunges, stretches, arm, back and neck exercises.
Try it next time you feel like you just wasting precious time and you will be amazed how you can kill 2 birds with one stone.
Besides helping to burn calories and improve my mood it also feels like a huge stress release. I feel so good after cleaning and the added benefit is having a nice clean space to relax after.
