Anti-Aging Smoothie

Beautiful, healthy and glowing skin that ages slowly, gracefully and naturally needs help from the inside out. I have found that my daily anti-aging smoothie helps in so many ways that its become a staple in my eating plan.


It took me a few months of testing, researching, changing, testing again and this is the recipe I feel is the best. I actually noticed a difference in my weight (lost centimeters), skin and general health only 2 weeks after starting this smoothie daily. Try it and share your feedback.


Recipe:

4 Tablespoons Full Fat Yoghurt

1 Banana

1 Tablespoon Peanut Butter

1/2 teaspoon Collagen/Protein (I use The Real Thing Pro-Protein)

(you can replace with any high protein source like egg, gelatin, etc)

1 big stalk Celery or 2 small stalks

1 cup full Baby Spinach

1/2 Cup Water


Blend and drink - tastes amazing too.

Full Fat Yoghurt can do wonders for your skin. It’s rich in riboflavin (vitamin B2), vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and protein, plus the probiotics help keep your colon healthy. It all comes together to put less stress on your skin to eliminate waste, giving you the glow you deserve.


Bananas contain vitamins A and C, which are essential for healthy, youthful-looking skin. Vitamin A can help reduce fine lines and wrinkles, while vitamin C can help brighten and even out your skin tone. So, if you want to keep those wrinkles at bay, just eating bananas daily will do the trick for you.


Peanut Butter is a rich source of Vitamin E. It helps in maintaining the health of your skin cells and reduces damage by free radicals in the body.


Collagen's main role is to provide structure, strength and support throughout your body. Collagen's specific roles include: Helping fibroblasts to form in your dermis (middle skin layer), which helps new cells grow. Playing a role in replacing dead skin cells.


Celery juice is loaded with vitamin A, B, C, K, niacin and folate, which are essential for repairing skin damages and keeping our skin in good health. These vitamins also help in producing collagen which nourishes our skin.


Spinach Juice is filled with Vitamin A and Vitamin C micronutrients. Together they can help promote healthy hair and glowing skin. Vitamin A regulates skin cell generation and produces mucous to protect against infections. Vitamin C protects skin against skin damage, ageing, and inflammation.
